About Comfort Cove

Our resort and campground is situated amongst the trees on the shores of Solberg Lake in Phillips, WI. Our proximity to the water gives our guests the opportunity to experience swimming in the clear lake, fishing, boating, and water skiing. Other nearby recreation includes hunting, hiking, bicycling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.


Our cabins and campsites provide comfortable accommodations with modern amenities, while our boat rentals give you full access to the lake.

  • What amenities are available at Comfort Cove Resort?

    Our resort offers full hook-up RV sites, clean restroom and shower facilities, a camp store, picnic spots, and access to Solberg Lake for swimming, fishing, and boating.

  • How do I make a reservation?

    Reservations can be made online through our website or by calling our front desk. We recommend booking early during peak seasons to secure your preferred site.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    If your reservation falls under the peak season ( June 1st-August 25th), any deposits received will be non refundable after March 1st. No exceptions. During the off season, deposits will be non-refundable if canceled less than 30 days prior to the reservation date. If you book a cabin within 30 days of your arrival, the deposit is non-refundable. 

  • Are pets allowed at the campground?

    Non-aggressive, well-behaved dogs are allowed at the resort for an extra charge. They must be kept quiet and on a leash no longer than 8 feet. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet while here and are liable for any damage that your pet causes. 

  • What outdoor activities can I enjoy nearby?

    Besides lake activities, guests can explore hiking, biking, hunting, golf, tennis, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing in the surrounding Chequamegon National Forest and local trails. See our Travel Guide for a list of recommended activities.
